What you need to know about the new Sony console! (Playstation 5?!)

Gaming fans from all over the world… let’s get ready!

Sony is preparing to unfold their new console in 2020. We don’t know the exact chosen name yet, but it surely will be something that will shake the gaming industry!

Recently, Sony’s Playstation architect Mark Cerny sat down with Wired to talk a bit more in depth about the next gen console.

In his own words:” The key question is whether the console adds another layer to the sorts of experiences you already have access to, or if it allows for fundamental changes in what a game can be.”

Many changes in the way we experience games will happen, starting with the use of new technologies like the buzz word of the last few months, Ray Tracing, a technology that allows the 3D engines to better elaborate the way light reflects and creates shadows in games and animations, so that it can help to render the view as more natural.

But also we will start experiencing 3D audio. Cerny is frustrated with the audio in video games because audio hasn’t progressed at the same rate as graphics, and he’s aiming to fix that. Thanks also to Ray Tracing, we will be able to experience audio in a different way. It might be difficult to provide people with the experience and make them understand the great upgrade this will provide, but hopefully gamers from all over the world will be able to try the new device out and understand what kind of immersive experience this will provide!

In conclusion, we know that this will definitely be a game changer (pun intended!) of a console, and we can’t wait to lay our hands on it to see how the future of gaming will shape!
