Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – What can we expect?
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. Coming from EA studios, you won’t miss out on epic lightsaber battles and an amazing story of a Jedi hiding following the rise of the Galactic Empire.
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order we play as the young Cal Kestis. He’s an apprentice, or “Padawan” in the Jedi order, who survived Order 66 and is living under the radar in the wake of Revenge of the Sith, the early days of the evil Emperor Palpatine’s Galactic Empire.
It’s hard to believe that this young padawan managed to survive the Clone Troopers revolt against the Jedis, but I am sure we will be able to find out during the game!
The game starts with Cal living a quiet work life on the planet Bracca, in the middle of the galaxy, and working for the scrappers. He helps breaking down old star ships from the war, so they can use the parts to build some new ships, and maybe even the Death Star.
In the trailer we can hear Cal saying these words :”Don’t stand out, accept the past, trust no one.Trust only in the Force.” He lives by this rule in order to stay hidden and not get discovered by the bad guys.
During the trailer we can also see him turn on a blue-bladed lightsaber, clear reminder of the Star Wars movie franchise. The blade looks like it has been very well used, so it probably belonged to someone who had an amazing fighting career. Hopefully we’ll know more about it as the game progresses.
I am really looking forward to the E3, when the will show us a bit of gameplay from the game! We haven’t seen any so far, but the promise is that it will be awesome and we’ll have a lot to learn to make our Jedi beat the enemies.
Game director Stig Asmussen said that Cal’s lightsaber will “grow and evolve” over the course of the game, which probably means that we’ll be able to customize it. This sounds like a great idea! Hopefully we will be able to see when the game play is revealed at the E3.
All this is creating a crazy anticipation for a game that will probably be one of the best games of the year and I am looking forward to seeing what it’s all about!
