Sony trademarks PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9 and PS10

Well well well, my gaming friends, the news has hit the floor! Sony seems to be thinking a huge long term game here and has announced that it filed trademarks for PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9 and PS10. Are you curious to know more about the incredible news? Then let’s dive right in!

We all know that the incredible PlayStation is one of the most popular and loved consoles out there on the market and Sony clearly is thinking that a change of name wouldn’t be wise for their gaming console. As a precaution they decided to trademark all the names for the future generations until the Play Station 10!

We are waiting for the Play Station 5 in 2020, so that definitely means that there will be a lot of time between now and the release of PS 10 (Sorry die hard fans!). Especially considering that Sony trademarked PS5 in 2006, 14 years before its release.

Needless to say that I firmly believe the wait is going to be worth it! even just because of that Ray Tracing! 🙂 Check out my article about the release of PS5 right here.

I honestly can’t wait to see what Sony has in place for us in the years to come! If you enjoyed this article about Sony and the wonderful Play Station console, please let me know in the comment section and share this with a fellow Play Station lover! It would mean the world to me 🙂
