Final Fantasy 7 Remake – Official Release Date !
I have said this before, but I’ll repeat it. I have been a Final Fantasy fanatic since when FFVII came out for PS1. I love the way Square Enix creates compelling stories and amazing battles that keep you glued to your seat for endless sleepless nights… oh .. highschool times!
An official release date has finally been released for FFVII Remake. 03.03.2020. Brace yourselves FF lovers!! This is going to be Epic! Square Enix has officially released the date through their new FFVII dedicated Instagram account, which you can follow HERE.
Final Fantasy VII Remake, retells the story of the original game, following our hero Cloud Strife, a former Shinra soldier who joins the AVALANCHE group as a mercenary to fight against the Shinra corporation, who have been draining the planet’s life energy, only to find himself involved in a way bigger mess. This version of the game is completely remade from scratch, unlike ports of the original game released for computers and other high-definition platforms.
The first footage was shown in 2015 and helped demonstrate both exploration and battle mechanics, which both take place in real-time like in the latest games of the series. The battle system is in real time, similarly to the Kingdom Hearts series, unlike the “Active Time Battle” system of the original version. Thanks to the real time battle system, players are free to control Cloud or one of his allies as they attack enemies. Magic, Summons and Limit Breaks are also still part of the FFVII world, ready to be used for powerful attacks against monsters.
The official trailer, released on June 10th is insane! Have a look at it HERE.
The character design is incredibly realistic and still manages to maintain the original vibe of the game. It’s truly an incredible experience being able to see how far graphic engines have gone since the first release of the game which for many gamers around the world is still one of the top games ever created. The story was appealing and engaging and the gameplay superb. We expect nothing less from the remake of such an unbelievable game!
Waiting for the E3 has definitely been a big reward! Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda said: “I believe that our teams have made it so that the game will support both the next generation and the current generation of consoles. I believe it is being developed so that it is going to be playable on both.” The game will be future proof!
